Cache writes cost more than base input: 1.25× for 5 minutes, 2× for an hour. Legacy and deprecated models still answer; a deprecated one is scheduled to retire (see Anthropic’s model deprecations page).

How quickly does a new Claude model show up here?
Usually within minutes. Every 5 minutes, UsageMeter reads Anthropic’s Models API and three pages of its documentation: the models overview, the model deprecations and the pricing. The first time a new model ID appears, it is added here and announced once: the extension and UsageMeter Link show a notification, and the accounts that asked for it get an e-mail.
Are the new model alerts free?
Yes, on every plan, including the free Essential plan. The notification is on by default in the extension and in UsageMeter Link, and you can turn it off in their settings. The e-mail stays off until you switch it on in your UsageMeter account.
Do these prices apply to a Claude Pro or Max plan?
No. They are Anthropic’s API rates in US dollars per million tokens, paid by developers who call the models from their own code. Claude plans (Free, Pro, Max, Team) are paid by subscription and count your use against usage limits instead: those limits are what the UsageMeter extension shows.
Which Claude models are listed?
Every model Anthropic lists: the current ones, the legacy and deprecated ones that still answer, and the retired ones at the bottom, for reference. Claude Mythos models are offered separately, by invitation only. A price reads “Not published yet” until Anthropic’s pricing page lists it.
