Claude usage limits and plans

Claude does not give you a fixed number of messages: each conversation uses a share of your plan's allowance, counted in several windows at once. Every plan has a session limit on a rolling five-hour window; paid plans add a weekly limit that resets at a fixed time each week, and some models have a limit of their own.
