Ultra has no 5-hour limit, and UsageMeter no longer goes blank on it. Once Anthropic has verified an Ultra account, Claude stops reporting a 5-hour session: UsageMeter’s % on claude.ai and in Claude Code, the toolbar badge and the tab icon now follow the limit closest to blocking, your week, instead of disappearing, and the popup says the account has no 5-hour limit.

The popup tells you whether your Ultra account is verified. Anthropic lifts Ultra’s 5-hour limit once it has verified the account: until then the plan reads “Ultra · not verified” and the session carries a “temporary” tag, then “Ultra · verified”, with no session at all.

Ready for Claude’s new plans: Max 5x is now called Max and Max 20x is now Ultra, in the popup, the accounts list and the side panel. Nothing changes for your saved accounts.
