Announcements display again — dismissing one banner used to hide every future announcement that shared the same beginning (the dismissal fingerprint only compared the first ~25 characters of the content, and announcements are edited in place server-side, so the title rarely changes). The fingerprint now covers the announcement id and its full content, so every genuinely new or edited announcement reappears

Admin panel: the announcement form no longer wipes your draft — the 30-second background refresh used to overwrite the fields while you were typing, and a failed publish gave no feedback. Drafts are now preserved while editing and publish errors are shown next to the button

Settings — the Language selector is now pinned at the very top of the page instead of sitting inside the Appearance group

English is now the default language on fresh installs (previously French). If you already picked a language, your choice is kept
